Xiaoyi (Shaow-yee) serves as CEO, founder and Chief Architect at THINKING SYSTEMS. Xiaoyi founded the company two decades ago after seeing a need in healthcare for improved workflow, automation, and advanced molecular imaging and nuclear medicine software tools. Xiaoyi is recognized globally as a leading industry expert in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine innovation. He has led the company to being recognized by Frost & Sullivan and KLAS multiple times for its technology innovation and customer advocacy. Xiaoyi has built a company culture based on respect, trust and customer success. He cares deeply for each of the company’s customers, their success and delivering solutions that will enable them to deliver the best patient care possible. He continues to collaborate with our world-renowned physicians and customers to discover new ways to innovative and help them with new functionality to make an impact on patient care and physician satisfaction. Xiaoyi earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Early in his career before starting THINKING SYSTEMS, he was an engineer for Sopha Medical Systems. He completed his master’s degree in Physics. He also studied in the Electrical Engineering PhD program at the University of Utah. Xiaoyi is married. He and his wife, Cathy, have two sons, Jared and Sammy, and two dogs. When Xiaoyi is not master minding with physicians on strategies to develop and customize our platform, writing software code and helping the company grow, he enjoys walking his dogs and fishing.
Ben joined THINKING SYSTEMS in 2019. He serves as President and Chief Operations Officer. He is responsible for the sales and marketing team, customer advocacy, technical support operations, corporate finance and growth strategies for the company. Prior to joining THINKING SYSTEMS, he spent more than a dozen years at KLAS, an industry-leading healthcare technology consulting company. He has consulted with many leading healthcare organizations on their enterprise medical imaging, healthcare IT and digital health investments. He also built a successful team that delivered corporate development services and merger & acquisition due diligence advisory to healthcare technology companies, private equity firms and other financial sponsors. Prior to KLAS, Ben worked with several other healthcare and technology companies, including: CompHealth Group, MRI, Micron Technology, Gateway Computers and G&H Internet Consulting. He currently serves as a board member for Radiologists Without Borders. He is a HIMSS Fellow and has served on multiple HIMSS and SIIM enterprise imaging and HCIT educational committees. Ben earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and has also completed executive education courses from the Chicago Booth School of Business in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Ben is married with four children. He loves watching his children play volleyball, basketball and football.
Wayne leads the technical and product support team at THINKING SYSTEMS. Wayne has a rich history implementing and supporting a variety of healthcare software and imaging technologies. Wayne joins the team after being part of the largest healthcare IT workforce in the world at Cerner. Wayne has 20 years of progressive experience in healthcare, nuclear medicine, radiology and oncology. For the last decade he has managed varying PACS systems, imaging modalities and healthcare applications. Wayne maintains his CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) and R.T. certifications (N)(R)(ARRT). He loves building and tinkering with computers since the early days of the 8086 and 80286. As a self-professed technology geek, he became the obvious choice to spearhead the PACS selection and implementation when he worked as a PET-CT technologist for Florida Cancer Specialists. After an extensive vetting process, THINKING SYSTEMS became the obvious choice for its robust backend structure and sensible user interface. Wayne has worked with multiple PACS systems but jumped at the chance to work with and now lead the support team at THINKING SYSTEMS. Home life for Wayne centers around his wife Kara and their two rescue dogs Axel and Finn. He enjoys renovating their 120-year-old house and keeping healthy with karate.

Becky joined THINKING SYSTEMS in October 2017. She serves as our operations and office manager, responsible for finances, quality assurance, and trade shows just to name a few. Before joining THINKING SYSTEMS, she had a successful career in property and association management. For a decade she built and eventually sold her own management company in 2017. Becky has served as a board member & Vice Chair for Edward White Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL for seven years. She also served on the patient safety and quality assurance committees for several years. Becky continues to serve the St. Petersburg community by volunteering at a local CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) shelter. She can often be found giving public speeches, supporting fundraisers, or being interviewed by local news stations to talk about and raise awareness for domestic violence and abuse. Becky and her husband Jason spend many weekends at their dream home on the Withlacoochee River fishing, scalloping, boat rides to the Gulf of Mexico, and watching sunsets over the river. They have three cats. Their daughter Justine is an accomplished and aspiring musician and songwriter.
